Sponsorship Terms and Conditions
General Terms and Conditions
- Each sponsorship opportunity offers specific sponsor benefits based on the level of sponsorship. Sponsor benefits from one sponsorship level can not be traded for sponsorship benefits from another level.
- Sponsorships and/or their benefits can not be transferred.
- Sponsorships are not a pay-for-speaking or pay-for-contact list acess opportunities, unless otherwise stated.
- The A-CAPP Center will communicate confirmation of sponsorship to the organization contact.
- Sponsors are responsible for submitting materials and/or information by the due date. Failure to submit materials/information by the due date implies that the sponsor does not wish to receive the applicable sponsor benefits.
- Sponsorships are considered gifts and are tax deductable. You will recieve a letter for end of year tax purposes from MSU.
- Sponsors may communicate their sponsorship to the general public in adherance to the A-CAPP Center’s sponsorship terms and conditions and Michigan State University’s Endorsements, Advertising and Sponsorships Policy
Details on Sponsorship Benefits & Recognition
Recognition
- When “recognition” is included as a sponsorship benefit, the A-CAPP Center will utilize the organization’s logo. See section “Sponsor Assets” for specifications on logo.
- When “highlighted in app” is included as a sponsorship benefit, the A-CAPP Center will utilize the ogranizations banner ads, videos, and documents. See section “Sponsor Assets” for specifications.
- When “swag” is included as a sponsorship benefit, the overall size should be generally small. Flyers are not considered swag. The sponsor is responcible for transporting swag to and from the Summit.
- Summit marketing materials will include a recognition section for all sponsors. Whenever possible, sponsors will be grouped and identified by sponsorship level.
Examples of marketing material: event website, app, emails (invitation, reminders, updates, etc.), signs at event, slide(s) during break/lunch slideshow in mainroom.
Sponsor Assets
- Logo must be high resolution file 500px X 500px. An EPS, AI, or SVG file type is preferred.
- Banner ads must be high resolution file 700px X 210 px. An EPS, AI, or SVG file type is preferred.
- Document and video files for the Summit app are determined by the sponsor.
Certificate Courses
- The certificate course benefits include courses in the forthcoming update to the current professional certificate program, Professional Education in Brand Protection to be released at the 2025 Summit.
- Courses will include those in the fundamentals professional certificate track.
- Sponsors may elect who will recieve the course package(s). Once enrolled, users must comply with the courses terms and conditions.
- Users must be selected by September 25, 2025. Failure to select certificate courses by the due date implies that the sponsor does not wish to receive the course package.
Exhibit Booth
- Exhibit booths are allowed during the Annual Reception on March 26, 2025 and is the only time period that selling is allowed during the Summit.
- Exhibit booths will be an 8’X8′ covered table and two chairs. Alternatively, an 8’X8′ space can be chosen in lieu of a table.
- The exhibit booth information sheet must be submitted no later than March 5, 2025. Failure to submit the booth information sheet by the deadline implies that the sponsor does not wish to have an exhibit booth.
Special Invitations
- Sponsors may elect who will attend the closed reception on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 and/or closed lunch on Thursday, March 27, 2025.
- Sponsors must make their election by March 5, 2025. Failure to elect a participant(s) by the due date implies that the sponsor does not wish to attend.
- Selling is not allowed.
