Donna Policz
Donna Policz boasts a robust sales career spanning over a decade in the brand protection sector, working for leading global companies in her field. Her professional reputation is founded on her role as a reliable and strategic partner within the industry. Over the years, she has collaborated closely with brand owners, converters, investigative firms, law practices, and printers to implement anti-counterfeit technology. Through these collaborations, Donna has helped develop effective solution-based strategies tailored to address the concerns of brand owners. These concerns encompass a broad spectrum, including countering counterfeiting, managing diverted products, tackling warranty fraud, enhancing supply chain security, and optimizing consumer engagement. Donna is a graduate of James Madison University.
Tim Simpson
Tim Simpson is the Paul Morrow Professor of Engineering Design & Manufacturing at Penn State, co-Founder of the world’s first Additive Manufacturing & Design Graduate Program, and Co-Director of the Center for Innovative Materials Processing through Direct Digital Deposition (CIMP-3D). His research interests include product design and development, 3D printing and additive manufacturing, and engineering entrepreneurship. He has received over $60M in external research funding, and he has published over 450 peer-reviewed papers in journals and conferences and edited two books. He serves as the Educational ADDVisor for The Barnes Global Advisors, where he has helped train over 1500 industry practitioners in AM in aerospace, defense, energy, oil and gas, medical, and space organizations. For six years his monthly column, Additive Insights, was featured in Modern Machine Shop and Additive Manufacturing Media, and he is a co-host of AM Radio. He received his BS degree from Cornell University and his MS and PhD degrees from Georgia Tech.
