Schedule A litigation has become a key tool for combating online trademark counterfeiting, particularly in matters involving multiple anonymous defendants. This session will examine the practical utility of Schedule A cases, including procedural mechanisms such as temporary restraining orders, asset restraints, and expedited discovery. Panelists will also address common misconceptions, discuss judicial attitudes toward large multi-defendant cases, and share best practices for preparing evidence and case documents, managing joinder issues and other court-specific procedures, and avoiding procedural pitfalls.

The 18th Annual International Law Enforcement IP Crime Conference, cohosted by INTERPOL and UL Standards & Engagement (ULSE) and delivered by IIPCIC in Lyon, France—home of INTERPOL’s General Secretariat.
