Law 533Y - Trademark Counterfeiting Law

Offered through the Michigan State University College of Law each spring and taught by Kari Kammel, this course explores the growing global challenge of trademark counterfeiting. Students examine how legal systems, businesses, and governments work together to protect brands, consumers, and legitimate commerce from the risks of counterfeit goods in an increasingly connected global marketplace.

The Brand Protection Experience (SSC490) is a hands-on course that introduces students to the field of brand protection through applied learning, industry engagement, and real-world experiences.
