criteria matrix

A project planning tool used in Six Sigma and other process improvement methodologies, that helps a team to identify the relative importance of process characteristics in need of improvement. The criteria matrix, also called a prioritization matrix, can also help to determine which projects are most likely to yield successful improvements based on factors such as availability of information and relative complexity of the environment.
