The Center for Anti-Counterfeiting and Product Protection (A-CAPP) is an independent, interdisciplinary evidence-based hub, whose activities focus on research, education and outreach designed to assist in protecting brands and products of all industries worldwide.


Our outreach activities provide thought leadership and share information on new solutions to product and brand protection challenges. These activities include our annual Brand Protection Strategy Summit, online conference series, and The Brand Protection Professional (BPP).


Our education programs help industry and government officials gain a broad, interdisciplinary understanding of product counterfeiting and sharpen their ability to deter and fight product counterfeiting. Courses are developed in formats that are easily accessible to working professionals from beginning brand protection professional to those that are well-established in the field.


Our comprehensive multi-disciplinary evidence-based research portfolio provides industry and government partners lessons and proof to theories that have practical application in preventing and responding to product counterfeiting and brand protection issues
